Feeliin' Hot Hot Hot
I have no patience for long hand recounts. Here's what's up now. Nathan has been admitted to the hospital. He spiked a fever yesterday that went from 100.4 to 102 by the time we were headed to urgent care at Sloan. While in the urgent care center his fever went up to 102.9. He was given tons of fluids, Tylenol and two types of IV antibiotics. They have established that it is a bacterial infection but are not sure what kind it is. He has been admitted and will be here for a few days until the blood cultures come back. Please keep him in your prayers.

ReplyDeleteYou are both in my prayers right this very second!
ReplyDeletePrayers for your husband....asking the Father to apply the healing power of the cross to this situation. At Calvary, all prayers are answered. Try to lay your burdens down at the foot of the cross. Your Heavenly Father loves you all, very much.
ReplyDeletePrayers and Reiki coming Nathan's way tonight and your way tomorrow, Elisa. Hugs and Healing.
ReplyDeleteThoughts and prayers for a quick recovery for Nathan, and that you have the chance to relax a little bit yourself.
ReplyDeleteMany, many, many prayers for Nathan! Peace and love to your family.<3
ReplyDeleteBuy some good chocolate chip cookies and hot coco, get some comfy blankets and pillows and relax the best you can in the hospital, and some deluxe body lotion like coconut from the body shop, the smell will remind you of the beach! Earbuds too if you have an ipod. I know the nurses don't let people get much rest in the hospital but give it your best shot--when I was in the hospital a young male nurse asked me every hour of the night if I had a bowel movement, ask for some Ativan, that helps a lot!

ReplyDeleteI know you must be so exhausted from dealing with all of this. My prayers are with you and your husband and little girl.
ReplyDeleteYou are both in my prayers. Prayers to Nathan that all the medicines work fast and he recovers well. Back you your MRI, maybe one of your friends can help you set up a paypal account or something. All of us that you never heard of before that have been following your story since the Today show can contribute a little, and we'll get that damn MRI in spite of our glorious American health care system. We're not just voyeurs this is a community of folks who want to stay connected and help you. I mean it girl.
ReplyDeleteI am holding you both up in prayer and praying you both will be well, whole, and healed.
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry to hear that it must be so overwhelming at times like this!! We always keep you in our prayers
