Sunshine and Smiles After All!

Turns out, Nathan and I were too busy watching, photographing and videoing our darling daughter on her last day of her first year of nursery school that we forgot to cry.  It was all smiles yesterday!!

  4. God bless you all. You are all so strong just like my mom was. Her story was highly similar to that of Elisa's and she fought for 11 years so don't ever give up. I enjoy reading your blog and pray things start looking up for you. You manage to stay positive through situations that others would just throw a pity party for. Keep fighting Bond family!

I met you yesterday-at NYU, while waiting for my dear friend, to come out of her PET scan. I can't stop thinking about our meeting and I feel I am truly blessed
to have 'ran into you' both today. I have been following your posts and recognized you from your photos. Keep writing, both of you...
Your posts are not only witty-but keep us (your audience) smiling and hopeful. I was on a such a 'high' leaving the hospital.
PS--I sent you a private message to the "inspireteambond" email address. All my best, Emily

God loves you so very very much, more than you can ever be able to fathom or imagine...so much that He died for you on the cross. Believe and trust in Him today, the only true and living God. 27. Dear Elisa,
Did I tell you, you are my inspiration?
I am another stranger whose heart is with you and your sweet family every day. I realized today that I have fallen into being a selfish voyeur who has posted only the most minimal responses while being inspired greatly by both your and Nathan’s courage, endurance, strength. My apologies. Good thoughts for you have been in my mind but I haven't let you know how much your words have inspired me.
I want to thank you for sharing your pain and triumphs, and dear Sadie’s antics and growth. She is one gorgeous, adorable, precocious girl, the cutest!
Through the last months I have found your writing quite extraordinary. To read a woman with perspective, who through the thick of it, can focus on weight loss, shows a magnitude of courage and femininity I so admire. And, BTW, your pictures through chemo have been stunning.
    GO girl, go.

  36. You are an absolute inspriation to me, Elisa. I have been following your blog and story/updates from your first appearance on the Today show over a year ago when I was holed up in a hotel traveling, bitching because the airline lost my luggage. I'm a mom of two young daughters and fought some health issues myself, but your strength, comedic sense of humor and love of family puts a smile on my face everytime I see your daughter's picture/updates. You have a blessed family...I continue to pray for your recovery. -Karen

  42. Hi Eliza & family, I've been following your story since a mutual friend posted it on Facebook. Your story struck a chord with me because we have a daughter the same age. Keep up your good spirits and wit -- think of you often and send lots of good vibes & energy your way.

  43. Having kicked cancers ass 2 years ago, I have great respect and admiration for both yours and Nathans candid approach to the whole ordeal. You are so open, honest and inspirational and I know you will both kick cancers ass too!! Stay strong, stay happy and stay united...you will all get through this and look back in the future and laugh...just the other day I remembered my mum having to tie my hairbrush to the towel rack as my memory got so bad I would lose it at least daily! Cancer never completely goes...if we're lucky, the physical damage to our body goes but the scars are there forever. but they make us stronger...they make us proud. you will get through this xxx

  46. Just a note from a stranger....sending positive energy and prayers up and out for you all. Letting us all know how you are is fab, but focusing on your fam and friends when you are feeling up to it is more important.
