STOP! Potty Time!

Okay there is a blog post in my drafts box from last night when I was up late night for no good reason but I haven't finished it yet.  In the meantime, we have breaking news on the Sadie Abigail front.  After about 20 minutes of sitting on the potty (the training one) success!  Sadie made an actual pee pee in the potty.  She was thrilled as am I.  Her cousin, Fiona, and bestie, Alice, have been making great strides on the potty training front this week.  Thank goodness for some positive peer pressure.

  1. This is spectacular news! I saw a gal talking on your Team Bond page about a diaper drive -- and I said, no need that girl is about to be out of diapers!!! LOL. Yay Sadie!!!

  3. That is so awesome! My daughter is about a year older than Sadie (2.5 in May) and she refuses to even sit on the potty. Won't touch it. Won't go near it. Is well aware when she has peed and pooped, but has so little desire to put that pee and poop anywhere but in her diaper. So YAY for Sadie!!!!!!

  9. yippee!!! Horray for Sadie! I remember when my son decided that he had had enough of diapers. lol I had just walked in from my second dose of chemo and I was sick as a dog. My little guy (2 at the time) says to me, "I think I am done with these diaper things" clear as could be. I was thinking, really, can't we wait a day or two so I don't have my head in the toilet while you are learning how to use it? But you know what? He never turned back and never had an accident!

  13. Thanks for continuing to share your story to the many of us unknowns out here! What you are going through absolutely stinks and was not in the guide book when you guys married or had your beautiful little girl. I cannot imagine your frustration and keep ALL of you in my prayers!!!
